Job Title: Behavioural Intervention Specialist

MAT Recruitment Careers is currently seeking a Behavioural Intervention Specialist to join a collaborative team and support young people through their learning journey in Manchester. This temp to perm contract offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact.

About the Role:

  • The successful candidate will assist the class teacher in implementing the curriculum and responding to pupils' needs, ensuring a tailored approach to education.
  • A high level of discretion is required when handling confidential school matters.
  • The role involves providing support for class teachers, contributing to educational and social development, both within and outside the classroom.
  • To provide additional provision for children within a class or year group.
  • Contribute to promoting the well-being of children within the Academy.
  • Promote and safeguard the welfare of children you teach or come into contact with.
  • You will be responsible for promoting a positive culture and diversity within the school community.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop the school's vision, values, and aims.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the class teacher in supporting pupils' learning needs.
  • Maintain confidentiality on all school-related matters.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff to promote pupil progress.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, parents, and carers.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times.
