Job Overview
Barts Health NHS Trust is a leading healthcare provider in east London, seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our orthopaedic team as a Rehabilitation Support Worker. This exciting role offers the opportunity to work alongside physiotherapists and occupational therapists in providing therapy services on the wards.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a physical health setting or a foundation degree in rehabilitation. They should be adaptable, flexible, and possess excellent communication skills. The successful applicant will work closely with the multidisciplinary team, assessing and treating patients with a wide range of presentations.

This rotational post offers the opportunity to gain experience in various teams, including medicine, orthopaedics, stroke, older people, surgery & amputees, musculoskeletal, and emergency therapy. If you are looking for a challenging yet rewarding role, we encourage you to apply.

Main Duties
Assist the therapy team in providing a high standard service to patients referred from orthopaedics by supporting the multi-professional team in assessing and implementing treatment programmes and care plans for patients. Work effectively within a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities while maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with patients and colleagues.
