We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Business Development & Partnerships to join our client, a leading pharmaceutical company based in the Cambridgeshire area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Driving Strategic Collaborations

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving strategic collaborations and partnerships that are crucial to the company's growth, innovation, and success.

Managing Alliances

They will manage alliances post-deal signing to ensure maximum benefit to the company.

Sourcing New External Opportunities

Another key responsibility will be sourcing new external opportunities and leading mixed scientific and corporate development teams throughout the deal process, including technical and commercial due diligence.

Requirements
  • Relevant Degree and Experience

To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates with a relevant degree in science or business related to pharmaceutical R&D, business development, or technology transfer. Additionally, they must have proven industry experience in business development within the pharmaceutical or biotech sectors.

Working Knowledge of IP Licensing

A working knowledge and practical experience with IP licensing, drafting, and negotiating various agreement types is also essential.

Competitive Salary

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of £90,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
