About the Role

As a key member of our team at the University Of Leicester, you will play an integral role in the delivery of cutting-edge translational research projects within the Experimental Cancer Medicine Centre (ECMC) portfolio.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, enabling them to plan and execute tissue collection activities efficiently, ensuring compliance with Good Clinical Laboratory Practice (GCLP) standards.

You will be responsible for post-collection processing of tissue samples in the laboratory, as well as supporting the running and maintenance of GCLP labs. This includes equipment monitoring, ordering, and providing training for staff and students involved in handling human tissues.

To succeed in this position, you must have great attention to detail, be flexible, and understand that sample collections may be cancelled or postponed due to unforeseen circumstances.

A working knowledge of regulatory requirements is highly beneficial, although not essential.

About You

Your expertise in working with human tissues and knowledge of regulatory requirements will be valuable assets in this role.

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience
