Housing Business Support Job Description

This role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to provide administrative support to the Neighbourhood Service team. The successful candidate will work closely with officers and managers to deliver an excellent housing management and ASB prevention and enforcement service to residents.

Key Accountabilities

  • Deliver high-quality administrative support to the Neighbourhood Service team, focusing on garage lettings, allocations, and terminations.
  • Collaborate with officers and managers to develop and implement strategies for delivering excellent housing management services.
  • Prepare and complete all necessary paperwork for new tenancies, including conducting viewings, meeting with tenants, and verifying identity checks.
  • Coordinate mutual exchange processes, working closely with relevant teams to ensure timely completions within statutory timescales.
  • Provide exceptional client-related administration to support housing officers, team leaders, and Neighbourhood Managers, enabling them to work efficiently and effectively.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A strong background in administration, customer service, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in handling confidential information and maintaining accurate records.
  • A high level of attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Salary Range

The salary for this position ranges from £25,000 to £30,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
