About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Senior Support Worker to join our team at Evolve Housing + Support. As a key member of our supported housing service, you will play a vital role in providing person-centred support to vulnerable individuals who are struggling with homelessness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and support customers' strengths, needs, opportunities, rights, and responsibilities to enable them to move towards independent living.
  • Plan and set targets to achieve and take appropriate action to meet customers' goals and aspirations.
  • Take part in activities and provide opportunities that generate aspiration and confidence.
  • Network and build relationships with other agencies to access support for customers, such as benefits, housing, and education.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and its application in day-to-day work.
  • Understanding of the reasons why people become homeless and the needs and challenges they face.
  • Ability to work shifts on a pre-planned rolling rota, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
