Job Title: Senior Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Registered Nurse to join our team at Kata Care. As a Senior Registered Nurse, you will play a key role in leading and managing our nursing team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and driving service improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage all clinical activities within your designated area, ensuring patient safety and a high-quality patient experience.
  • Lead, coordinate, and support the nursing team in delivering excellent care, taking charge of staff rotas, patient allocation, and forward planning.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Management Team and other professionals to develop and grow the service.
  • Take responsibility for clinical audits and service improvement projects.
  • Manage and mentor nursing staff, including recruitment, training, performance reviews, and disciplinary matters.
  • Ensure compliance with CQC standards, maintaining the highest level of clinical governance.
  • Deputise for the Matron when necessary and take part in budget management.
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse with NMC.
  • Proven experience in a similar environment, ideally with supervisory responsibilities.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Experience in clinical audits and service improvement initiatives.
  • Commitment to delivering person-centred care and maintaining high standards of nursing practice.
