Support Technician

We are seeking a highly organized and enthusiastic Associate Technician to join our Technical Services team. This role will assist in delivering high-quality teaching and research support by managing equipment, maintaining asset registers, and ensuring safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide technical support to customers under supervision, ensuring their needs are met efficiently.
- Operate basic equipment and perform straightforward maintenance, adhering to safety procedures.
- Assist colleagues and students with the preparation of equipment and supply of consumables for scheduled activities.
- Understand, promote, and apply relevant health and safety procedures, ensuring they are followed at all times.
- Hold GCSEs, NVQ Level 1 or equivalent qualifications/experience.
- Experience in preparing clear and accurate documentation.
- Good IT skills and experience of working with basic software and hardware configurations.
- Knowledge of basic safety regulations & procedures.
- 43 days' leave per year (personal leave, bank holidays, and additional days allocated for the Christmas period, pro rata for part-time staff).
