Job Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Compensation and Benefits Specialist to join LSH Auto in Birmingham.

This role will play a crucial part in ensuring the company's compensation and benefits packages are competitive, compliant, and aligned with our business objectives.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company's payroll functions, including supervising a team of payroll administrators and overseeing all payroll-related activities.

This includes developing and implementing policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with government regulations, and working closely with the HR and finance teams to ensure seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the monthly payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees.
  • Supervise the payroll team, providing guidance and support to ensure effective delivery of payroll services.
  • Develop and maintain reports to track employee data, benefits, and compensation.
  • Liaise with financial accounts to ensure payroll accuracy and timeliness.
  • Provide expert advice on compensation and benefits packages to senior management and other stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a payroll or compensation and benefits role.
  • Attainment of relevant qualifications, such as ATT or CIPP.
  • Extensive knowledge of payroll processes, systems, and legislation.
  • Experience of data handling, analysis, interpretation, and reporting (with excellent use of Microsoft Excel).

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £40,000 per annum, plus a company car. Other benefits include:
