Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Client Executive to join our team at Massenhove Recruitment Ltd. This role offers the opportunity to develop and maintain a strong commercial book of business, working with various types of businesses across multiple sectors.

About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Commercial Client Executive to work in a fast-paced environment, developing strong relationships with clients and colleagues alike. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial insurance, technical knowledge, and a keen interest in further developing specialist knowledge in insurance, risk management, and client sectors.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to clients, providing accurate and independent insurance advice and support.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with clients, colleagues, and insurers to ensure comprehensive coverage.
  • Negotiate with insurers to provide clients with a comprehensive insurance program and value for their premium.
  • Develop new business opportunities by identifying and developing existing client needs, supported by our marketing team when needed.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of new and existing products and current sector conditions.
  • Monitor and report on performance against agreed targets and objectives.
  • Collaborate effectively with the Commercial Team, including Account Handlers, Claims Handlers, and other Account Executives, to achieve company goals.

Salary and Benefits:

The starting salary for this position is estimated to be around £35,000-£45,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, you can expect a discretionary bonus earned upon achieving set targets and objectives. Our hybrid working policy allows flexibility once probationary period is passed. We also offer opportunities to obtain qualifications with the Chartered Institute of Insurance and a fun, sociable environment with regular incentives and social events.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Previous experience and knowledge from working in commercial insurance space.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues and clients.
  • Basic computer literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Ability to work to set targets and objectives.
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
  • Minimum 2 years experience as a Commercial Insurance Account Executive.
