Job Title: Horticulture Programme Lead

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Horticulture Programme Lead to join our team at Camphill Village Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and managing our horticulture programme, ensuring its continued growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of staff and volunteers in delivering the strategic aims of the social farm/garden.
  • Assist with the planning, preparation, and delivery of AQA accredited structured programme of Green Care activities.
  • Review the progress and development of each individual learner, gather evidence to demonstrate progression, whilst recognising achievements and identifying new/individual goals and objectives.
  • Design and implement a range of Green Care activities, which can be delivered to the people we support.
  • Manage the horticultural land in accordance with organic principles.
  • Ensure all team members work in accordance with policy, procedures, practices, and controls.
  • Undertake other such tasks as required individually, or with others to develop and maintain the high quality of service required to fulfil the vision of the social farm/garden.

Requirements:

  • A recognised qualification in either Horticulture and/or Level 3 Health & Social Care or equivalent, or a willingness and ability to achieve both within an agreed period.
  • Full and valid driving licence and access to a vehicle during working time.
  • Qualifications in garden machinery operations.
