Job Title: Support Worker for Children and Young Adults

Sanctuary Supported Living is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team at Dolphin Lodge, Hythe. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support to children and young adults, empowering them to develop the skills necessary for independent living.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish professional relationships with clients, promoting independence through daily living skills and social engagement.
  • Assist clients in understanding and planning their support package, focusing on positive outcomes to maximize their potential.
  • Provide advocacy to support clients and their families, ensuring maximum independence and personal potential.
  • Liaise with external agencies to ensure the maximum support is delivered to enable clients to access and maintain a level of integration within the wider community.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working with vulnerable children and young adults.
  • Proven knowledge of key needs and services for relevant client groups.
  • Good understanding of written and spoken English.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
