Job Title: Waking Night Support Worker
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Project Worker to join our team at Sanctuary Supported Living. As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support to young people, empowering them to maximize their potential and independence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality person-centred support to enable and empower customers to develop the skills necessary for independent living
- Establish professional relationships with all customers, using appropriate and clear communication to promote independence
- Assist customers in understanding and planning their support package, focusing on positive outcomes to maximize their potential
- Provide advocacy to support customers and their families when required
- Liaise with relevant external agencies to ensure the maximum support is delivered to enable customers to access and maintain a level of integration within the wider community
Requirements:
- Experience of working with vulnerable children and young adults
- Proven knowledge of key needs and services for relevant customer group
- Good understanding of written and spoken English
- Good communication skills
- Good interpersonal and customer care skills
