GSL Education seeks an experienced Autism Support Worker to provide tailored support to students in Hythe, ensuring they can achieve their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive setting.

This role is pivotal in providing individualised support, helping students navigate both academic and social challenges. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers, educational psychologists and other professionals to implement tailored strategies to aid in students' development.

Key responsibilities include offering one-on-one assistance, helping manage behaviour and implementing tailored educational plans. As an Autism Support Worker, you will collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement effective support strategies.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with children or young adults with autism, possessing an understanding of Autism Spectrum Condition and strategies to support children with additional needs. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for building positive relationships with students and staff.

To thrive in this role, you should be flexible and adaptable, able to support students with a range of needs and adapt to different classroom environments. A compassionate and patient approach is crucial for supporting students with additional needs.
