About the Role
GSL Education is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join one of our client schools. This role will involve assisting teachers with individual learning plans, managing small group activities, and offering one-to-one support for students requiring additional guidance.
Responsibilities
- Support the class teacher with daily lesson planning and delivery
- Assist students with their individual learning needs
- Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom atmosphere
- Supervise classroom activities and behaviour management
- Facilitate effective communication with students, parents, and staff members
Requirements
- Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
- Prior experience in a classroom or support role preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of child development and safeguarding practices
