Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Civil Engineer to join our team in Suffolk. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in residential housing projects and a strong understanding of highways, drainage, and utilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct site appraisals and analyse levels and drainage strategies.
  2. Offer expert advice on utilities, highways requirements, and planning obligations.
  3. Manage third-party consultants to develop tender packages for infrastructure design.
  4. Collaborate with legal teams and local authorities to secure Section Agreements.
  5. Provide engineering advice and resolve issues arising during construction.
  6. Coordinate the final inspection, vesting, and adoption of infrastructure assets.

Requirements:

  1. A minimum of HNC/HND qualification in an engineering-related discipline.
  2. Experience in residential housing projects and a solid understanding of highways, drainage, and utilities.
  3. Strong negotiation skills and experience working with external consultants and local authorities.
  4. A collaborative team player with excellent coordination abilities.
  5. Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
  6. Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.

Estimated Salary: £65,000 - £70,000 plus benefits
