We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Children's Home Manager to join our team at Sanctuary Personnel Ltd.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of running a children's home, ensuring high levels of emotional and physical care, activities, accommodation, and keyworker services. You will implement and adhere to relevant legislation and Ofsted guidelines, managing performance and development through regular supervisions and appraisals.

Job Description

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in children's residential care, with experience of managing a team of staff and implementing best practices to deliver high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development of a new children's home in Ipswich.
  • Manage running the home, ensuring high levels of emotional and physical care, activities, accommodation, and keyworker services.
  • Implement and adhere to relevant legislation and Ofsted guidelines.
  • Manage performance and development through regular supervisions and appraisals.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years experience working within children's residential care, with 2 in a supervisory capacity.
  • Direct involvement in Ofsted inspections.
  • A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent.
  • A Level 3 Residential Childcare qualification or equivalent.

The estimated salary for this role is £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
