Residential Development Expert

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our team in Suffolk.
The successful candidate will lead the technical team, overseeing various engineering disciplines across multiple residential projects.
Main Responsibilities:- Conduct site appraisals for new land acquisitions, including analysing levels and drainage strategies.
- Offer expert advice on utilities, highways requirements, and planning obligations.
- Manage third-party consultants to develop comprehensive tender packages.
- Collaborate with legal teams and local authorities to secure relevant agreements.
- Provide engineering advice and resolve issues during the construction phase.
- Coordinate final inspections, vesting, and adoption of infrastructure assets.
- A minimum of HNC/HND qualification in an engineering-related discipline with at least 5 years' post-qualification experience.
- Experience in residential housing with a solid understanding of highways, drainage, and utilities.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience working with external consultants and authorities.
- A collaborative team player with excellent coordination abilities.
- Highly organized with excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel, with experience in design software desirable.
The salary for this role is estimated to be around £65k-£70k plus benefits.
