About Hoop Social Work:

We are a local agency based in Cardiff, offering a range of social work opportunities in South/West Wales and South West England.

Our team works predominantly with children who are care experienced, and we are seeking a qualified and experienced social worker to join our Child Care Experienced Team in Bridgend.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Undertaking assessments and care planning for children who are looked after by the local authority.
  • Providing support to families and carers.
  • Supervising students and supporting other staff with students on placement.

Requirements:

  • A relevant Social Work Qualification.
  • Registration with Social Care Wales / Social Work England.
  • Enhanced DBS, registered on the update service or be happy to apply for a DBS.
  • Driving license with access to a car.

Estimated Salary:

We estimate that this role offers a salary of up to £38.43 per hour, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
