Role Overview
A Child and Family Support Specialist is required to work within our Locality Teams, assessing and supporting children and families across the county borough. Our team uses an outcome-focused approach to provide a continuum of services ranging from early help to intensive provision for families with complex needs.

A valid driving licence is a requirement for this post, and we apply our Hybrid Working Policy providing flexibility between home and office.

The Position
This role requires the ability to assess and support children and families effectively, using our social work model as guidance. All new staff will be provided with training to develop their practice in line with our model. The council's Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check applies to successful applicants. As per standard procedure, a £5,000 Market Supplement and relocation package up to £8,000 may be considered for this position.
