Job Overview:
We are seeking a Special Education Needs Teaching Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting children with special educational needs in a mainstream primary school setting.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting children with SEMH and Behavioural challenges in a collaborative and inclusive environment
- Developing and implementing behaviour support plans in consultation with teachers and other staff members
- Providing individualised support to children with behavioural needs, promoting positive relationships and communication skills
Requirements:
- Experience of working with children with special educational needs
- Knowledge of behaviour management strategies and techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Compensation and Perks:
- A competitive salary of £38,000 - £48,000 per annum, depending on experience
