We are seeking a highly experienced Special Educational Needs Lead to join our team, responsible for developing and implementing strategies that promote positive outcomes for students with SEND.

Main Responsibilities:
  • To lead the development and implementation of the school's SEN policy, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
  • To work collaboratively with teaching staff to develop and implement effective strategies for supporting students with complex needs.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • To improve student outcomes for those with SEND, measured through regular assessments and evaluations.
  • To increase teacher confidence and competence in supporting students with SEND, through training and coaching.
  • To maintain accurate records and reports, tracking student progress and evaluating the effectiveness of interventions.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience working in an education setting, preferably with a focus on SEND.
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teaching staff.
  • Able to analyze data and evaluate the impact of interventions on student outcomes.

Salary and Benefits:

  • A salary of £50,000 - £70,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
