Operations Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team at London Heathrow Airport. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the cabin cleaning operation and ensuring that all aspects of the business are running smoothly.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the cabin cleaning operation, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard and within the required timeframe.
  • Develop and implement effective operational and people management reports, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and up-to-date.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers, ensuring that all contractual obligations are met and exceeded.
  • Proactively manage the operation, including resource management and planning, to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Conduct on-site risk assessments and implement measures to mitigate any potential risks.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Drive innovation and positive change within the company, identifying opportunities to improve processes and procedures.
  • Develop and implement effective training programs to ensure that all staff are equipped to perform their roles to the highest standard.
  • Ensure that all company policies and procedures are adhered to, and that all staff are aware of their responsibilities and accountabilities.
  • Manage and develop the leadership team, ensuring that they are equipped to perform their roles and that the team is working effectively together.

Requirements:

  • Previous management experience, preferably in a similar role.
  • Valid driving license.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
