Operations Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team at London Heathrow Airport. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the cabin cleaning operation, ensuring timely submission of operational and people management reports, and building strong relationships with clients and suppliers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the cabin cleaning operation to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Submit weekly operational and people management reports in a timely manner.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Proactively manage the operation, including resource management and planning.
  • Conduct on-site risk assessments to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and meeting client expectations.
  • Drive innovation and process improvement to enhance service delivery and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with SLAs, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage financial budgets, including purchase order sign-offs and operational expenses.
  • Establish KPI gaps and develop training programs to enhance staff performance and H&S.
  • Ensure the operation meets the required standards set by LHR airport and legislated requirements.
  • Motivate and supervise the leadership team to achieve business objectives.
  • Drive a culture of excellence in customer service and ensure staff adherence to company policies.
  • Deputise for the General Manager as required.

Requirements:

  • Previous management experience, preferably in a similar role.
  • Valid driving license.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in relevant software applications.
