Nurse-in-Charge Role in Older People's Care

An exceptional care home in the Cumbria area is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse-in-Charge to lead their team in providing high-quality care to older people. As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering nursing care, patient care, and the clinical environment within a nursing unit.

The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, with excellent leadership skills and experience in older people's care. A Registered General Nurse (RGN) qualification and active NMC Pin are essential for this role.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating and leading on the quality and management of nursing care, patient care, and the clinical environment within a nursing unit.
  • Managing and directing the delivery of clinical services within a unit, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, current legislation, and quality standards.
  • Providing clinical leadership and expertise to all colleagues on shift as required, assuming the role of nurse-in-charge whilst on duty.

This permanent full-time role offers an excellent salary of £42,642 per annum, based on 38 hours per week at £21.30 per hour. Benefits include:
