We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Paediatric Nurse to join our team as a Lead in the Complex Packages of Care (CPOC) team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating a team of Health Care Support Workers, Nurse associates and Staff Nurses in delivering individual packages of care to children with complex physical health needs.

This is an exciting opportunity for a forward-thinking nurse to contribute to the co-ordination of care and make a positive impact on the lives of children and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • To work as part of the CPOC team providing a nursing service for children referred for assessment and intervention.
  • To assess the needs of children and develop individualised management and treatment plans using clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice.
  • To participate in the delivery of training programmes and information packages for colleagues, education, voluntary sector organizations, and parents/carers.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a professional degree or equivalent, be registered as a qualified nurse with current Professional Registration with NMC, and have evidence of continued professional development.

A competitive salary of £43,041 - £53,619 per annum, depending on experience, is offered along with excellent benefits including flexible working, career breaks and term-time working options.
