The Role

We're seeking a Director, Quantitative Biomarkers to lead our preclinical and clinical translational research programs in oncology. You'll oversee multidisciplinary teams responsible for designing, implementing, and interpreting biomarker strategies that support early clinical programs. Your expertise will inform indication and dosing regimen selection, and you'll collaborate with colleagues in research biology, drug discovery, and clinical pharmacology/operations groups.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver clinical biomarker strategies for preclinical and clinical assets.
  • Analyse and present emerging clinical biomarker data to support model-informed drug development.
  • Contribute to building scientific rationale for clinical strategy by exploring novel indications and targeted patient populations.
  • Regularly report biomarker data to project teams and senior governance groups.
  • Fulfil regulatory responsibilities, including preparing and finalising biomarker sections in clinical protocols and reports.

Requirements

  • MSc, PhD, or PharmD in immuno-oncology, tumor biology, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in quantitative biomarker/translational biology research, including 3+ years of clinical trial experience.
  • Leadership experience in drug discovery/development, with ability to represent clinical BTB research on project teams.
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, with excellent written and verbal communication.
