Senior Bioassay Development Specialist

About this role:
We are recruiting a Senior Bioassay Technician to join our team at CK Group, a growing biotechnology company based in Oxford. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a challenging role in a fast-paced environment, working closely with an interdisciplinary team to develop new cancer treatments.
The Role:
This role is a great chance to contribute to our strategic R&D goals, working on the development, qualification, and validation of bioassays and clinical samples. You will be supporting the development of new cancer treatments, working with a dynamic team to translate early-stage oncolytic virus products through to clinical development.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing bioassay development, validation experiments, and patient sample analysis under GCLP.
- Management and performance of sample processing.
- Timely delivery of biomarker lab data for clinical trials.
Your background:
- Degree qualified (MSc/PhD) with industry experience in clinical bioassay validation, analysis, and clinical sample management.
- Up-to-date GCLP certifications.
- Hands-on sample management expertise.
- Technical experience on cell culture, qPCR, RNA/DNA extractions, ELISA, and cell-based assays.
- In-vivo work experience, ideally within oncology (e.g., mice bearing human tumors) and working with patient samples.
