The Role

We're seeking a Director, Quantitative Biomarkers to lead our preclinical and clinical translational research programs in oncology. As a key member of our team, you'll design, implement, and interpret biomarker strategies to support early clinical programs. You'll work closely with multidisciplinary teams to define pharmacodynamic markers, inform indication and dosing regimen selection, and develop external scientific collaborations to advance our understanding of disease biology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver clinical biomarker strategies for preclinical and clinical assets.
  • Analyse, interpret, and present emerging clinical biomarker data.
  • Contribute to building scientific rationale to support clinical strategy.
  • Regularly report biomarker data to project teams and senior governance groups.
  • Fulfil regulatory responsibilities, including preparing biomarker sections in clinical protocols and reports.

Requirements

  • MSc, PhD, or PharmD in immuno-oncology, tumor biology, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in quantitative biomarker/translational biology research, including 3+ years of clinical trial experience.
  • Leadership experience in drug discovery/development and communication of goals to senior management.
