**Job Description**

We are seeking an Associate to support laboratory operations with aspects such as clinical samples, reagents, consumables, and equipment management. As part of our team, you will work closely with the laboratory operations manager and sample manager to ensure smooth day-to-day activities.

**Your Key Responsibilities Will Be**

  1. Implementing strategic lab operations objectives set by senior leadership.
  2. Managing inventory by stocking and cataloging products.
  3. Performing quality checks on consumables and discarding them if they do not meet company standards.
  4. Maintaining compliance to regulations and training to SOPs.
  5. Supporting the laboratory manager in maintaining laboratory equipment.
  6. Managing specimen storage at the appropriate temperature and location within the clinical biomarker laboratory.
  7. Participating in cleaning and decontamination of laboratory surfaces and equipment.
  8. Participating in waste management to ensure waste is segregated according to the waste SOP.

**What You'll Bring to the Table**

  1. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  2. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in CRO, biomedical institution, or pharmaceutical industry.
  3. Knowledge of clinical laboratory material and specimen management.
  4. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel and aptitude for learning new digital tools.

**Salary Range:** £38,000 - £50,000 per annum
