About the Role:

Service Express is seeking an experienced Hardware Sales Executive to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating revenue by selling new and refurbished IBM Hardware and related services to current and prospective customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a deep understanding of all IBM Hardware platforms, customer strategies, and challenges, as well as the Service Express catalog of solutions related to those specific challenges.
  • Consult with customers to sell solutions related to the management of their IT Hardware infrastructure effectively and profitably.
  • Manage an effective sales process aligned to the Service Express ASCEND Core methodology.
  • Act upon sales leads provided by partner departments within Service Express.
  • Coordinate with partner departments to ensure services sold to customers are delivered to specifications outlined during the sales process.
  • Nurture relationships with customers in assigned regions to develop opportunities for additional business.
  • Nurture relationships with Service Engineers in assigned regions to identify areas of opportunity within Service interactions.
  • Actively participate in all scheduled internal business meetings and trainings to maintain and improve knowledge of services and business processes.
  • Engage with internal functions, such as Sales, Service, Billing & Customer Success, to ensure customer solutions are successful and serviced appropriately.

What You Will Bring:

  • Experience selling IT Hardware products and services such as HP, Dell, Lenovo, or Cisco is desirable
  • Additional experience selling solutions or services such as Third-Party Maintenance, Managed Services, and Cloud Services is preferred
  • Ability to work independently and be self-driven
  • Demonstrated ability to act resourcefully
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, as well as strong active listening skills
  • Developed negotiation and persuasion skills
  • Assertive personality and tenacity in working with customers
