About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead our RS Local Branch in Newcastle. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for shaping and delivering our customer contact channels, providing a seamless service, and driving a world-class customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a high-performing branch team to execute our Go-To-Market strategy and deliver sustainable and profitable growth.
  • Create and implement a strategy to develop and review supporting processes, tech, and improvements required to deliver it.
  • Develop and maintain a high-performance culture, setting plans and objectives, and success criteria to be delivered across branch advisers through the branch assistants.
  • Work collaboratively with all sales communities to make your RS Local Branch the heartbeat of the region and the wider business community in your area.

Requirements

  • Agile, flat-hierarchically minded leader with a proud background of experience in developing people into successful professionals.
  • Experience and enjoyment of mentoring, coaching, and motivating with a view to creating high-performing teams.
  • Leadership in a matrix and complex organisation or a branch-based business.
  • Driving sustainable continuous improvement in processes and people.
  • Experience of budget, risk, and compliance management in a large and complex organisation.
  • Improving customer experience and implementing operational service capabilities for new service propositions.
  • Experienced in stakeholder management with the ability to influence, negotiate, and gain buy-in at all levels of the organisation.
  • Self-organised, flexible, motivated, driven to succeed, and to share success through others.
