Medical Healthcare Assistant

We are looking for a highly skilled Medical Healthcare Assistant to join our Pharmacy team at HMP Lancaster Farms, a Category C prison in Lancaster. This is a full-time role with an estimated annual salary of £44,992, depending on experience.
As a Medical Healthcare Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of clinical services, working closely with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care. You will be responsible for preparing medications, maintaining accurate records, and adhering to strict health and safety protocols.
To succeed in this role, you will need a strong understanding of pharmacy practices and procedures, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills. You will also be required to undergo additional vetting and security checks due to the nature of the role.
