Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Nursing Associate to join our team at Lancaster Medical Practice. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to our patients, working closely with our Practice Nurses, Doctors, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assess and manage patient risk, identifying potential health issues and reporting concerns to our medical team.
  • Monitor and support patients with long-term conditions, using a holistic and patient-centered approach to care.
  • Perform and record clinical observations, including vital signs and other relevant health metrics.
  • Administer medications as prescribed, following established protocols and guidelines.
  • Provide basic wound care management and support patients with nutrition and hydration needs.
  • Work collaboratively with our Frailty Matrons to deliver high-quality care to our patients.
  • Participate in health promotion activities, such as new patient medicals and NHS Health Checks.
