About the Role

Practice Plus Group, a leading provider of healthcare services in UK prisons, is seeking a skilled Part Time Healthcare Assistant to join their Primary Care team at HMP Lancaster Farms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Assist with medical procedures and administer medication
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to patient assessments

Working Hours:

30 hours per week, spread across 7 days, including Mondays to Thursdays (07:30-19:30), Fridays (07:30-18:00), Saturdays and Sundays (08:00-17:30) and Bank Holidays.

Salary and Benefits:

This part-time position offers an annual salary up to £27,195 per annum FTE, depending on experience. Benefits include bespoke induction training, competency framework, regional and national career development opportunities, and access to a Learning Management System for ongoing learning and development.

  • Additional vetting and security checks will be required due to the nature of the role
