Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team at Surecall Recruitment Services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care and will be responsible for assessing patient needs, administering medications, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health status and needs, ensuring accurate diagnosis and effective treatment.
  • Develop and implement individualised care plans based on patient assessments, promoting patient wellbeing and satisfaction.
  • Administer medications and monitor patients for adverse reactions or side effects, maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management and treatment options, empowering them to make informed decisions.
  • Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care, ensuring seamless communication and timely interventions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, protecting patient confidentiality and dignity.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, reducing the risk of hospital-acquired infections.

Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this role is £35,000 - £45,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

Requirements

  • Valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
  • Degree in Nursing or related field
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritising tasks and managing time efficiently
