Senior Midwife Clinical Lead for Community Services

We are seeking an experienced Registered Midwife to lead our community midwifery services, providing exceptional care to women and families in the Derby and Burton area.
About the RoleThis is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact on maternity care in the community. As a Senior Midwife Clinical Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of midwives, developing and implementing clinical policies and procedures, and ensuring that our services meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
You will work closely with our consultant-led unit at Royal Derby Hospital and our birth centres at Derby and Lichfield, as well as our community midwifery teams across Derbyshire and Staffordshire. Your experience and expertise will be invaluable in shaping our services and driving improvements in patient outcomes.
The Ideal CandidateTo be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong clinical background in midwifery, excellent leadership and management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders. You should also have a full UK driving license and be willing to travel extensively throughout the region.
We offer a competitive salary of £44,414 per annum, which reflects your senior level of experience and expertise. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including pension scheme, life assurance, and access to our Employee Health & Wellbeing Programme.
