Senior Health and Safety Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Health and Safety Manager to join our Sizewell C project team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading our health and safety strategy, ensuring the safe delivery of our construction activities, and promoting a culture of zero harm.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead health and safety in every stage of construction
- Foster collaboration between client, designer, and contractor teams to promote a culture of zero harm
- Support all duty holders in satisfying their health and safety obligations and delivering leading industry standards
- Lead risk reviews on constructability, maintainability, and operability to reduce risk
- Provide visible leadership and expert guidance to maintain the highest standards of health and safety
- Proven experience in large-scale construction or infrastructure projects with a strong focus on health, safety, and environment
- Strong knowledge of CDM Regulations and experience interfacing with regulatory bodies like ONR and HSE
- NEBOSH/IOSH qualifications, with Chartered Membership (or working towards it)
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams
- Experience in implementing progressive health and safety risk management strategies to drive health and safety excellence
