Senior Health and Safety Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Health and Safety Manager to join our Sizewell C project team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees, contractors, and the wider community.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a comprehensive health and safety strategy to minimize risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to identify and mitigate potential hazards, and develop effective risk management plans.
- Provide guidance and support to employees and contractors on health and safety procedures and protocols.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Develop and maintain accurate records of health and safety incidents, near misses, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Proven experience in health and safety management, preferably in a large-scale construction or infrastructure project.
- Strong knowledge of CDM Regulations and experience interfacing with regulatory bodies.
- NEBOSH/IOSH qualifications, with Chartered Membership (or working towards it).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams.
