About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Health and Safety Manager to lead our Health and Safety delivery at Sizewell C. As a champion of holistic health and safety, you will address unique risk factors in construction and provide local advice and support to managers and staff to fulfill their safety responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and communicate strategic objectives to effectively deliver Inclusion + Wellbeing programme across Sizewell C
  • Measure H&S performance against strategic deliverables and seek out individuals and teams who are engaged, trusted, and empowered to create health and safety without deviation
  • Ensure delivery of collective insights and collaborative conversations to identify what works and why, and what is not working and why
  • Establish delivery of positive investigations and appreciative enquiries to engage with the workforce and understand how success is created within the business
  • Guarantee innovation, research, and adoption of cutting-edge products, technologies, methods, and services to support the delivery of Inclusion + Wellbeing
  • Promote learning in projects by effectively cascading business and industry communications
  • Lead projects in setting Inclusion + Wellbeing maturity goals and inspire progress
Requirements
  • Qualification at level 6 (min)
  • Technical knowledge in Occupational Health risk management and wellbeing
  • Technical knowledge in Safety risk management
  • Member of relevant professional body
