We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to provide administrative support to our Patient Pathway Coordinators in the Ophthalmology Directorate.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced environment and a solid understanding of the 18-week Pathway. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to Patient Pathway Coordinators, including collecting health records and preparing clinic notes.
- Respond to queries relating to health records and ensure accurate tracking using EPR.
- Assist with filing and scanning patient correspondence and escalate stationary requirements.
- Open and date stamp departmental post and distribute appropriately.
- Communicate effectively using good verbal and written skills and deal with enquiries in a sympathetic and professional manner.
