About the Role

Copello is seeking a highly skilled Senior Hardware Engineer to join our team in the development of cutting-edge electronic systems for the defence industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement hardware requirements to ensure compliance with relevant industry standards.
  • Collaborate with system engineers to design and develop electronic subsystems.
  • Create and verify schematic designs, PCB layouts, and component selections.
  • Work closely with embedded software engineers and mechanical engineers to ensure seamless system integration.
  • Generate and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and test reports.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in embedded digital electronics and microprocessor systems.
  • Experience with ADC/DAC, SRAM, Flash, FPGAs, and SoC technologies.
  • Ability to design and develop prototypes and production-ready hardware.
  • Experience with PCB design and manufacturing, including defence engineering standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and work independently or collaboratively as needed.
  • Eligibility for SC security clearance.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Experience with the Xilinx chip family.
  • Familiarity with systems engineering approaches and tools, such as Mentor Xpedition.
  • Knowledge of DO254 compliant electronic systems and APNT systems domain.
