In this role, you will undertake an administrative function for our Refugee Support Team, which offers compassionate, secure, and empowering assistance to individuals in distressing circumstances.

A typical day as a Lead Support Coordinator includes:

  • Delivering administrative and operational support to the Refugee Support team, aligning with team needs and organizational standards.
  • Generating reports and updates on various initiatives as necessary.
  • Evaluating information and making informed decisions regarding required actions.
  • Handling external inquiries efficiently and professionally.

To excel as a Lead Support Coordinator, you should possess:

  • Experience in an administrative capacity.
  • Background in working with vulnerable populations and an understanding of issues related to asylum seekers, refugees, and other at-risk migrants.
  • The ability to maintain neutrality and uphold client confidentiality.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the capability to effectively plan and manage workloads.
  • Proficiency in IT, particularly with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
