Cancer Research Scientist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced molecular biologist to join our team at the Barts Cancer Institute, Queen Mary University of London. As a Postdoctoral Research Associate, you will play a key role in the development and deployment of cutting-edge methods to detect cancer earlier than traditional methods.
The successful candidate will have experience in the development and application of next-generation sequencing assays and will be able to work independently and effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment. A strong background in translational research using human samples and bioinformatic analysis of next generation sequencing data is also desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and apply next-generation sequencing assays for cancer detection
- Contribute to the development of clinical diagnostic assays
- Analyse next-generation sequencing data using bioinformatics tools
- Work collaboratively with the research team to achieve project goals
What We Offer:
- A competitive salary of £42,000 - £50,000 per annum
