Crop Performance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Crop Performance Technician to join our Cambridge Regional Trials Team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering field trials and demonstration plots across various crop species, including combinable and horticultural crops, sugar beet, potatoes, maize, and novel crops. This will involve seed preparation, drilling, monitoring, spraying, harvesting, processing, and storing material for future use.
Main duties will include assessing trials during the season, recording information, and working as part of a team based in Cambridge with occasional off-site work assisting with trials operations at other centres around the UK.
This role requires regular manual handling of items up to 25kg and can be physically demanding. Estimated salary: approximately £25,000-£30,000 per annum, depending on experience. Requirements- A level or equivalent qualification

- Microsoft Office skills (Word and Excel)
- Team player with ability to work under pressure
- Prepared to work unsociable hours at certain times of the year
