Are you a highly motivated individual with a passion for crop science and quantitative genetics? We are seeking a skilled Postdoctoral Research Associate to join our team at the National Institute of Agricultural Botany (NIAB).

We offer a unique opportunity to contribute to pioneering research in crop genetics and bioinformatics, applying innovative techniques to analyse genetic data and reveal the underlying factors driving key crop traits. Our collaborative Crop Quantitative Genetics team works on shaping the future of crop science, unlocking the potential of genetic variation in crops to address real-world challenges.

As part of this role, you will design and manage genomic analysis pipelines for genetic mapping and data quality control using R software. You will also analyse large-scale genetic and sequence datasets using bioinformatics and high-performance computing systems.

The salary for this position is £34,148 to £38,227 per annum, depending on experience. This is a 3-year fixed term contract, working 37 hours per week, Monday-Friday; part-time options are considered.
