Job Title: Head of Learning and Development

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Learning and Development to lead our organisation's learning and development strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive learning strategy that aligns with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive learning strategy that aligns with our business objectives.
  • Oversee the creation and delivery of a core curriculum that meets the needs of our organisation.
  • Partner with business leaders to assess current and future training needs.
  • Develop and implement an innovative e-learning strategy that incorporates digital tools and blended learning methodologies.
  • Manage external learning providers to ensure high-quality and cost-effective learning solutions.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team of learning professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Review and measure the effectiveness of learning initiatives, providing strategic insights, and reporting to senior leadership on learning performance.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in learning and development leadership roles.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design, and leadership development methodologies.
  • Knowledge of learning technologies, LMS platforms, and digital content creation tools.
  • Ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
