Job Title: Subject Leader for Computing
About the Role:
Teaching Personnel's PWR Team is seeking a passionate and experienced Computing Subject Leader to join an outstanding school. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and inspiring a team of teachers, developing and implementing a high-quality curriculum, and ensuring excellent outcomes for KS4 and KS5 students.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the Computing department, providing guidance and support to teachers
• Develop and implement a comprehensive and engaging curriculum for KS4 and KS5 Computing
• Ensure high-quality teaching and learning throughout the department
• Set and monitor standards of achievement for students
• Contribute to the school's overall strategic direction and development
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will hold a QTS or equivalent teaching qualification with a specialism in Computing, possess excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, and demonstrate a proven track record of successful teaching and leadership.
