Job Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Child Health and Wellbeing Professional to join our team on a temporary basis at Service Care Solutions Ltd. This role involves providing professional nursing services to children and young people in an educational setting.

The successful candidate will be responsible for safeguarding, conducting health assessments, and working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the holistic well-being of the client group.

Role Objectives:

  • To provide professional nursing services to children and young people in an educational setting.
  • To conduct health assessments and develop health promotion initiatives tailored to the needs of the school-age population.
  • To collaborate with other health and social care professionals to deliver coordinated services.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Performing comprehensive health needs assessments for children and young people.
  • Demonstrating expertise in child protection policies and procedures, ensuring the safety and welfare of all clients.
  • Collaborating with other health and social care professionals to deliver coordinated services.
  • Maintaining accurate, up-to-date medical records in compliance with organizational and legal standards.
  • Engaging in ongoing CPD activities and demonstrating a commitment to improving nursing practices.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • NMC Registration: Active NMC registration with a valid pin.
  • Specialist Qualifications: Must hold a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (School Nursing) qualification.
  • Nurse Prescriber: Either currently qualified or willing to undertake relevant training within 12 months.
