Job Title: Field Sales Executive

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Field Sales Executive to join our team at Jewson, a leading building materials distributor in Northern Europe. As a Field Sales Executive, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with customers in the Hertfordshire and North Hertfordshire areas.

About the Role:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, lead follow-ups, and customer interactions
  • Support customers in onboarding their new accounts, ensuring they start and continue to spend
  • Target dormant and lapsed accounts to reactivate them
  • Develop trusted relationships with a portfolio of customers to maintain and improve profitability
  • Gain a thorough understanding of customer needs and requirements, expanding relationships by proposing solutions that meet their needs
  • Collaborate with all functions and branch teams to leverage all opportunities
  • Comply with all EHS policies and procedures when on site

Requirements:
  • A full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points
  • Strong direct sales skills and commercial focus
  • Current knowledge of building materials and the construction market
  • Proven experience in customer-facing business and a proactive sales environment
